Palm’s first full touch screen mobile phone “PRE” was shown at CES 2009.

Unlike Palm’s  aging Palm OS they have developed new OS called “WebOS”  aka “Nova” was used for “PRE”.

Palm OS apps are not comapatible with “Pre”.

It is not competitor to Apple’s iPhone.  I really liked the Palm’s new effort in the mobile world.

Palm Pre is first mobile phone I have heard that it features a Bluetooth 2.1

At last Skyfire launched the browser for Symbian OS S60 powered Mobile phones as a private beta. Skyfire touted as a next generation browser for Windows Mobile now availabe for Symbian. The page rendering in Skyfire is quite matchable too apple’s iPhone mobile safari browser. It is still in private beta option. So many users were unable To test the browser on their mobiles. Skyfire is free to Download for Windows Mobile and Symbain.

For Blackberry users they need to wait. Skyfire management said they are going to release skyfire for blackberry in near future.  One of the big plus point of Skyfire is it supports Adobe’s Flash where
Apple’s iPhone browser and Blackberry’s upcoming mobile Bold browser lacks.

Garmin Nuvifone.  One of the latest in touch screen mobiles.  Nuvifone’s screen is really brilliant.  Garmin did a good job by introducing a mobile with in-built GPS where the Garmin expertise.  There are many mobiles with GPS feature but none of them will be as good as Garmin’s Nuvifone. I think so.  There is no word on price tag for Nuvifone yet.  Below are the specs.

Blackberry Pearl 8100 is my first Mobile phone in USA.  Prior to that I was used Reliance LG [ I forgot Model Number ] and Panasonic A210 in India.  I’m highly satisfied with all three phones.  All of the three phones, I like Blackberry very much.  It’s Trackball concept was very good. Hatsoff to RIM [ Research In Motion ].

My previous mobile handset color are….

Reliance LG handset the color was Grey. 

comes to Panasonic A210 it is White and Pink mix.

and Blackberry Pearl 8100 is Black.

The service carrier for LG mobile is Reliance.

and for Panasonic mobile is Hutch.

for Blackberry Pearl, it is AT&T / Cingular.
